Final Impression

Summary:
Small beans with a considerable number of defects and some with advanced roast development — many of them only partially developed — likely indicating an uneven roasting process. The dry fragrance clearly delivers forest and green tea notes. In the brewed aroma, a slightly pronounced orange-like acidity is also noticeable. However, possibly due to the roast profile, much of the flavor expression is lost in the final cup, resulting in an extremely sweet beverage with muddled articulation. There is a lot of potential given the variety, process, and producer, but the delivery falls short — especially considering the high cost of the package.
