Summary:
My expectations for these beans were very high, and perhaps I ended up a bit disappointed—not because of their quality, but because I was expecting another flavor profile. The roast profile could be a little more uniform; there was considerable variation, ranging from light to medium-dark. Overall, the beans are well-defined, good-sized, and without visible defects. The cup produced is quite sweet, with deep and pleasant cacao notes. Perhaps a better coffee to use as a base for cappuccinos or similar beverages.
