Summary:
The beans show fairly uniform size and roast level. Roast development does not seem very advanced; however, during brewing and tasting, a smoky note is noticeable across all beans — possibly a residual characteristic of industrial-scale roasting. The package sealing is solid, and the tin is nice and potentially reusable. The coffee itself, however, does not spark much interest, despite its African origin, a region known for producing true gems. It does present some timid floral notes and high sweetness, but nothing particularly impressive or truly reminiscent of Ethiopian coffees from smaller-scale roasters.
