Summary:
It is with great regret that I must share my sincere opinion about this coffee. I bought it at the physical store; when smelling the beans through the bag, everything seemed correct and intact. However, when I opened the bag for the first time, I removed a carbonized sphere that was right at the top. I assume it was possibly a coffee fruit, so as not to say it was a foreign object. Many beans were also carbonized, while others were relatively light. This completely ruined the entire bag, as every bean carries an overpowering burnt-roast aroma. I did not expect to encounter this kind of profile and defect in a coffee sold at a high price in a prestigious location in São Paulo city. I tested the beans in several brewing methods, but unfortunately I cannot speak well of or recommend the beans or the roastery. And by the way, this is the first time I’ve had an Arara that performed well below average.
